Paul J. Kluesner, 66, of Fayette, Iowa, died Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Carl Tenney officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date at Grandview Cemetery in Fayette.
Paul Joseph Kluesner, son of Cyril and Norma Schutte Kluesner, was born September 19, 1946, at Farley, Iowa. He graduated from MFL High School in Monona. On October 25, 1986, he was united in marriage with Jean A. Denbow at the Fayette Wesleyan Church. Paul was employed for over thirty years at Norplex, Inc. in Postville. He was a member of the Fayette Community Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
Paul is survived by six children, Michelle (Tom) Aumiller of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Michael (Tammi) Leeper of Tucson, Arizona, Matthew (Donna) Evens of Fredericksburg, Iowa, Marcus Kluesner of Spencer, Oklahoma, Melissa (Mark) Mast of Fayette, and Brandy Brown of Cheyenne, Wyoming; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Sharon) Kluesner of Dubuque, Mike (Randy) Kluesner and John Kluesner both of Marquette; and four sisters, Carol (Cyril) Elsinger of Rickardsville, Iowa, Lonnie Kay Kluesner of Friendship, Wisconsin, Gloria Johnson of Lakeland, Florida, and Janet (Roger) Bernhard of Monona.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, who died September 11, 2012; his parents; and one grandson, Chantler Mast.
